Emi Morales Salazar, Attorney At Law

I concentrate in the areas of commercial and residential real estate, criminal/traffic law, bankruptcy and civil cases.  I hold a Bachelor’s Degree from DePaul University and a Juris Doctorate from Northern Illinois University College of Law.

I am a member of the Kane County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association.

My volunteer work includes Commissioner for the Elgin Housing Authority, past Commissioner for Elgin’s Planning and Zoning Commission as well as past Director for both Elgin’s YWCA and PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter).

I was born and raised in Elgin and volunteering my time and efforts to a wide variety of groups has given me the privilege of meeting the wonderfully diverse people of my community. I believe each person is a slice of fabric that adds a thread to a larger fabric known as Elgin. The interaction with each person and the various leaders of my community has made a lasting impact on my life; this imprint of civic duty and leadership has led me to practice in the City of Elgin and serve its world-class citizens.
